My students are motivated learners working very hard to succeed. Our school is located on Chicago's South Side, in a neighborhood rich with culture and struggling financially. My students are struggling readers, and I work daily to ensure they have access to the best educational opportunities and resources to get everyone reading on grade level. Years ago, our school was on the closing list... now we are celebrating our 3rd straight year as a Level 1+ school! This year, we have the honor of being one of the top 3 charter schools in Chicago.
