My students are Dyslexic that I will be using these resources with. I will be teaching them over the summer virtually. I want to be able to give them the resources they need to be successful at home and working virtually with me.
I'm trying to create the best learning opportunity I can, safely from my home, but also dropping things off occasionally for my students on their porch to keep their spirits high.
This also gives them exactly what they need to have to be successful and keep pushing forward with their learning.
I love my students very much and want them to continue learning and loving school. We can do this from a distance, even though we would much rather get those awesome hugs in person.
My Project
The materials are going to be used for my dyslexic students that I'm teaching virtually. We are going to continue teaching virtually over the summer to help these students not fall behind.
I want to hand deliver to each of their porches packages that contain magnetic white boards, dry erase markers, magnetic letters, sight word games, and books.
This will help my students keep up with their peers and when returning back to school not feel the effects of the time missed in the classroom.
