This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Currently, I have 19 amazing students. Every day they join me on Zoom with warm hearts and smiling faces. We are 100% virtual and have been since the start of the school year. Despite the struggles of virtual learning, every day they join me with enthusiasm to learn and explore the world around them!
My Project
"I deleted my math manipulatives!" is a statement I hear over and over throughout the day. My students are resilient, sweet, and eager to learn! Having the need learning supplies would equip my students with the needed resources to excel in the world of learning!
This donation would support all students and help them be able to stay engaged and participate during online lessons, such as comparing fractions, counting money, sharing their math thinking and engaging with classmates during group activities, and so much more!
Furthermore, it will allow all students in our class an equitable experience while on zoom. Not all students have the same resources and means to obtain them. It will increase student engagement and take away the technology gap.
