My Students

My students are diverse, imaginative, creative and fun-loving kids! We are a Title I school in a low-income community and a majority of our students come from low-income immigrant households and have not had much experience with the world outside their small community. Despite the many hardships they are facing with our school being closed, they are eager learners and a joy to work with.

My Project

Distance learning has been challenging, but nothing we can't overcome! Since winter break, it has been a slow return back into the online classroom. Help me set my students up for success and independence by providing them with the materials they need to wake up on time, login on time, and engage during learning!

For many of our students, they are either home alone or with an older sibling and being asked to take on responsibilities that we would normally ask their adults to hold while their parents work.

Many are expected to wake up, login and learn all on their own! While I applaud my young students, it has been a challenge and I hope these tools will support them as they learn to be independent.
