My Students

My students are high school seniors that are learning the trade of dental assisting while obtaining high school credit. Most of my students are using our program as a stepping stone, bridging over to become dentist and dental hygienist.

A majority of my students come from lower income families, but don't use their family status to slow them down from chasing their dreams.

My students take pride in becoming a part of such a professional work environment, and strive to be the best dental assistants they can be. We are a technical school that allows high school juniors and seniors to learn a trade in one of our thirty programs offered while earning high school credit. On our campus we strive to mold our students into strong, positive adults, who will carry our school name and reputation on for many years to come.

My Project

Obtaining these charts and models of diseased teeth will help my students better understand the process of tooth decay. Once my students understand this process, they will then be better prepared to educate their future patients on proper eating habits and stressing the importance of good oral health.

Donations to my project will allow my students to get a closer view of the tooth, the decay process and how to treat it.

My students LOVE using hands-on models! It excites and encourages them to continue with the dental program, to someday make a difference in someone's life.
