Help me give my students rewards with pop-its, Mike and Ikes, Ring Pops, Now and Laters, and Tootsie Rolls for working their best and achieving their goals!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in an urban area and love every minute of it! These students are very smart, full of spunk, and ready to learn. They each learn at their own pace and in many different ways. We try to find a way for each to shine throughout the year, and this is the best part of my job.
Growth is measured in many ways, and these students all show growth throughout the year.
I am so proud of each and every one of them and love to see how proud they are of their accomplishments.
My Project
My students have a weekly goal that they are striving to reach. When they reach their goal, I want to celebrate them! Each Friday I give rewards to those student that have earned it and they love it!
My students have requested these items and feel that they will motivate them to work harder.
They have chosen candy and of course Pop-Its to get them going. Ring Pops. Now and Laters, Mike and Ikes, and Tootsie Rolls where their favorite candies. Pop-Its were suggested so I went for mini Pop-Its keychains and bracelets to help get them in the right frame of mind. Knowing that there is something waiting for you when you reach that goal can make it a lot easier to try your best! They deserve it!
