My Students

Do you remember how excited you were when you first used a camera? This was the first time you were able to document the world through your eyes.

My first grade students are quite the inquisitive little bunch.

They attend a high performing school in a lower income area in California. My students are always inquiring about the world around them and feed off of the classroom projects that are presented to them.

My Project

We are kindly requesting a digital camera to help document our various learning experiences. My students participate in group and individual projects and with the use of a digital camera, my students can record through video or take pictures of anything that will help them better connect the academic curriculum to their world.

It is truly unfortunate that our state has an ongoing budget crisis thus affecting our district.

Due to this, our school is limited in the types of new technology we are able to purchase. Your help will allow my students to become even more creative in expressing their ideas.
