I teach a group of highly energetic urban fourth grade students. Our school is a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving both free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students enter the classroom daily with academic and social challenges.
My students need classroom successes that will build toward lifelong successes.
They need daily reminders that they can have brighter futures. I desire to cultivate an exciting learning community for young scholars. A learning community with meaningful real world connections. I need your help in building success stories that will aid in shaping and molding 21st century positive lifelong learners.
Your donation will aid in motivating my young scholars in developing critical thinking skills. Dash and Dot is a hands-on technology-based problem solving component where students can master, practice and apply higher order thinking strategies in their traditional learning environment. Dash and Dot will aid my students in developing lifelong problem solving skills as they learn the basics of computer coding. It will also, aid in filling in the gaps of self-motivation, and a desire to complete daily task with excellence.
This project will create a learning community with meaningful real world connections.
I need your partnership in cultivating success stories that will aid in shaping and molding 21st century positive lifelong learners.
