Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from an urban area with diverse backgrounds, so they are facing multiple life issues. This can be difficult for anyone, so it is highly important that they are afforded a classroom environment that promotes their learning and well being first and foremost.
They are enthusiastic, ambitious, and motivated learners.
I wish for each one of my students to have the opportunities that they so rightfully deserve in a classroom environment that provides ample and worthwhile learning experiences.
My Project
My students are young, vibrant and are an integral part in this vast technology world. One of the 21st Century Skills component involves technology in the classroom. I have requested an HP Pavilion Laptop and the Office Home & Student 2016 for my students and I to utilize on a daily basis. Many lessons and activities require technology access and a laptop will be beneficial for my young students.
My students are digital natives because they were born into a world where technology is all around of them.
I will like my students to be able to work on interactive literacy, math, and social/emotional lessons and activities utilizing the HP laptop. 21st Century Skills utilizing technology start in the early childhood classroom, and I wish to provide as many opportunities possible.
