My students are world changers in the making. I work with a variety of students from various socioeconomic, ethnic backgrounds, and academic abilities. Even though my students come from different backgrounds, they all share a love for learning. My students are the epitome of kind, intelligent, and considerate. They inspire me daily to be a better teacher and person.
We are more than classmates, we are family; and being a part of family means no one gets left behind.
In our class room, we are all about accountability and independence. We know that a job can't get done unless everyone leads a helping hand.
My Project
In Kindergarten, acquiring basic math skills is key. My students participate in math centers to practice essentials skills to turn them into magnificent mathematicians. Kindergarten is a critical time for students to acquire basic math skills in order to be successful as they move from grade level to grade level. Math centers allow all of my students to practice (or fine tune) the skills they need the most at their age.
Children learn best through play.
A lot of my centers are game based to keep students engaged and allow peer interaction as they practice essential skills. Additional math centers will provide my students with a variety of learning opportunities and more fun through learning!
