My Project

My students are so hungry for books! Our school library too often is the first and only library that they have visited, so they are amazed at the variety of subjects that they can read and learn about. We love to expose them to good, quality literature in order to set them up for a lifetime of learning and reading. The Young Hoosier Book Awards choose such books. Therefore, we would love to see them having access to them!

To see the students' faces when they see new books in the library is one of the most rewarding parts of being a librarian.

They literally scramble over each other to have a look at the new books. Our main goal in the library is to foster a love of lifetime-reading, and this book collection will help tremendously.
