Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second-grade gardeners will learn that they can act and affect the lives of pollinators. They learn that they can help pollinators so that we can continue to have fruits, flowers, and vegetables.
By experiencing hands-on lessons in the garden, our second-grade scholars can work with other grade-level scholars, and together our crew can explore plant life cycles, the importance of caring for the earth, lessons in ecology as well as understanding nutrition.
Students learn that they can contribute to a better world and gain a deeper appreciation for plants, butterflies, and bees.
