Help me give my students STEM activities like K'Nex, LEGOs, and STEM kits that teach amazing concepts, but will also build a love for exploring, discovering, learning, and creating!
My students come from very diverse backgrounds and they all have an excitement for learning! My classroom is full of authors, illustrators, creators, thinkers, problem solvers and doers.
They crave hands-on learning experiences that allow them to produce authentic while expressing their creativity and collaborating with their peers.
I want my students to know that they are the future and that they should feel empowered to reach for the stars, to step out of their comfort zone and be risk takers!
My Project
STEM is the future. STEM is science, technology, engineering, and math. These are all areas of learning that our kids need to be comfortable with to excel in the future.
STEM makes creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors.
My students thrive when they are given hands-on materials that allow them to use critical thinking skills and also collaborate with their peers. STEM activities like the BuilderZ STEM Challenge and Straws & Connectors will provide authentic learning experiences for my students which are the most valuable experiences that take place in the classroom. Students will use the STEM activities during our enrichment block and during science block. My students will thrive with STEM activities. STEM activities push kids to expand their horizons, experiment, problem solve, and accept failure as a means to success.
