Help our young artists create wonderful projects during our free choice time.
We are a public school in New York and are in a high needs area.
My four and five year old students are extremely creative and interested in exploring many different types of areas of the classroom. We need lots of supplies in order to allow the children to do so. We do not have many resources and it is very hard for the students to supply materials for our classroom.
My Project
We are requesting many types of art supplies to allow for the little artists to be as creative as possible! We are requesting paint, collage materials, play-dough and dot paint pens. We are also requesting a long clothesline so we are able to display all of the projects created around the classroom. The students love seeing their work up around the room and there are not enough walls for all of the work! The resources that I have requested will allow my students to have the opportunity to create many different projects. We have a period every day called center time and the students are able to pick the area they wish to explore. The resources will allow my students to paint and create many different types of art projects. The students will also be able to work on fine motor skills with the play-dough requested. The materials will allow our classroom to be a creative and exciting kindergarten environment.
