My students are always buzzing with excitement about new units of study, especially hands-on projects, and process-based art activities.
The students are curious, quirky, and always busy!
Our Pre-K classroom is nestled in Brooklyn, NY. Many of the students are English Language Learners, so we use many visuals throughout the school year to support learning. We constantly celebrate kindness and collaboration. My goal is to build a love and thrill of learning in my students that will last a lifetime.
My Project
My students spend a lot of time in the art center and it could use some new materials to spice things up for the new year! Having a large easel stand will help my students clearly see demos of new art techniques that I am showing, and inspire them to create their own artwork.
New materials like googly eyes, mosaic squares, and squeeze bottles will provide them with more opportunities to create artwork.
They love creating new things in the art center and would love to experience different materials.
Your contribution will help even the most doubtful artist in my classroom by intriguing them with these new open-ended art materials. I truly believe every child is an artist and we can support that by providing different mediums for expression.
