My Students

I am the lucky teacher of 19 fantastic First Graders! On March 12th we were told that we were going to have two weeks off because of the coronavirus pandemic. Teachers around our district could be found at their buildings late into the evening on the 12th, preparing 2 weeks worth of detailed lesson plans for kids to complete at home. Little did we know that eight weeks later, we'd still be teaching and learning from home.

It has been very challenging but my students are doing their best with very limited supplies and resources.

My Project

I would love to provide my students with color printed materials to add to their daily work packets to make them more appealing and engaging. With schools shut down, I do not have access to a printer. I am in the process of creating care packages for my students, and want to be able to include engaging activities.

Having a color printer will give me the opportunity to provide more engaging materials as well as the ability to print out pictures parents are regularly sending.

This printer would give more color to our black and white "classroom" and would be a wonderful tool.
