We have a diverse group of Pre-K students who are ready and excited for school! With your support, they can grow, learn, and spread their excitement for education into their future academic career. Pre-K is a special place for children to learn how to get along with others while building self-confidence and self-esteem. They learn how to socialize with others, manage disagreements, and build key communication skills needed in the future.
We are curious and active learners who love to make new discoveries by exploring our surroundings.
It's hard for a four-year-old to sit and listen to a lecture. That's why we learn through play!
Our classroom materials are essential to our learning process, offering us tools that support role-playing, creating, building, social-emotional skills, reading and writing skills, language skills, and math skills. Through play, the students make observations and discuss what they notice. Through our discussions, they draw conclusions that help them to make sense of the world and learn each day.
My Project
Our art center is one of the busiest centers in our room. It’s also one of the centers that requires the most materials and maintenance. My students enjoying going to the art center to create, innovate, and design their own special artwork! It’s amazing to see the many different things they make.
With this year almost through, I am preparing materials for our art center for next year!
Although we use lots of recyclable materials, wiggly eyes, glitter glue, craft sticks, glue, paper, and tape need to be replenished so our students next year will have the same wonderful opportunities!
