My Students

My students are spirited four and five year-old students that love to come to school and learn every day.

I teach all day pre-kindergarten in a rural school district in Oklahoma.

My classroom is filled with vibrant, energetic, fun-loving pre-kindergarten students. It is important to keep the energy and love of learning flowing all day long with hands-on and whole group activities.

My Project

My students will use these translucent accessories on the light table. The light table and accessories will be used daily during center time. My students can explore the properties of color and light while building math, science, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and language skills! The assortment of translucent plastic pieces, from letters and numbers to pattern blocks and counters, are perfect for sorting, counting, creating color combinations, and more.

This table and accessories will light up my students faces.

It will make learning and playing one in the same. Helping pre-kindergartners with fine motor skills is a vital part for pre-Kindergarten and this table will allow for many hours of fine motor skill play.
