My Project

One of the skills we have been focused on in our classroom is reading fluency. To increase students reading speed, we are asking for whisper phones to help students hear themselves read. Whisper phones allow students to hear themselves read without being distracted by others. A whisper phone is an educational tool designed to help children learn to read and enhance speech.

In second grade we are focused on arming our struggling readers all of the skills and strategies to make them successful.

Some other items our classroom is in need of is new erasers for our white boards. Students will use these to help them work quickly without having to erase using their hands. We are in need of new pencils and glue sticks, as well as a staple remover, to keep our classroom learning through hands-on activities.
