This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Without paper, no learning can occur in the classroom. My students are in desperate need of paper!

I teach in a public high school in the delta region of Arkansas where poverty is prevalent.

The majority of my students are on free or reduced lunch. They are extremely driven and are always eager to learn. However, dude to a cut in budget we do not have access to the bare essentials such as paper.

My Project

This year I will be teaching 5 different subjects: French 1 and 2, Physical Science, AP Biology, and ACT prep. In all those classes my students are in dire need of paper, whether it is to print worksheets, articles, quizzes, or tests. It is impossible for them to learn or for me to assess what they have learned without access to paper.

Your donation will make a tremendous difference in the lives of my students.

Each students will be able to have his or her own copy of a test, quiz, or homework so they will be able to assess his or her own progress in my classes.
