My students are just fantastic. They are awesome students and just awesome individuals. They are kind, gentle, supportive, hardworking and just positive people. These five girls have been my students for the past 3 years and come from very different backgrounds. Each can work successfully independently but thrive when they work as a team. They are very involved in our hands-on preschool program and invested in caring for young children. These 5 seniors are dedicated to their learning always striving to succeed and excel. However, they do not stop there. Some are very active in our school's extracurricular activities. However, all are involved in volunteering their time to work with and support the education of young children.
You won't regret sponsoring these loving and compassionate students who always bring a positive and energetic attitude to the environment and the students they work with.
It doesn't matter who they are working with; whether it is their peers, the autistic children in our high school, the preschoolers in our program or the infants-grade 2 students they work with while interning, they always bring happiness, love, a sense of security, and a fun educational experience. I'm so proud of each of them.
My Project
My students will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Jean Feldman. We use her resources and CDs every day in our preschool laboratory and the girls are anxious to meet her and ask her questions.
My students have the opportunity to experience and learn from the many presenters and their captivating hands-on workshops while working towards their goal of becoming an exceptional early childhood educator.
They will come back to school and share what they learned to their peers. They will then use what they learned while at the conference when preparing activities and lessons for young children. They will demonstrate this through their instruction to our preschoolers and interning at different early education facilities in our community. If this project is completely funded it will be the way for 2 students to attend for free. Any additional funding will help defray the cost for the rest of my students.
