I work with children with Autism. Over the last year, I have developed a Yoga program in my school. This experience has helped my students grow in many ways: They are learning to follow directions, work in a group, and they are learning body awareness. We work on breathing, something that my students have a lot of trouble with and we work on daily living skills, such as taking off and putting on shoes, taking out and putting away supplies, etc. I am asking for a class set of 10 yoga mats. Using the mats helps my students (who have much trouble with boundaries) create a personal space for themself during this activity.
