My Students
My students are some of the most loving students you ever will meet. We are a Title I school located in a small, close-knit community. Our students face many hardships but that doesn't stop them from trying to be the best they can be.
What excites me about teaching at my school is that our students love learning and look forward to coming to this safe and happy place every day, despite what challenges they face outside of school.
I admire their eagerness and positive attitudes and want to give them as many tools to be successful both academically, emotionally, and physically.
My Project
I am requesting 2 Chromebooks to give my first graders access to online content. Having computers in the classroom will allow my students to search a wealth of information to enhance their PowerPoint projects. In science, they will be able to add diagrams and voice overs to make their presentations more exciting. In math, they will be able to create an animated demonstration of an assigned math strategy.
The possibilities of having access to online resources are endless.
Having my students make the most of their creative potential and meet academic goals will allow them to become active participants in their own learning.
