"And so my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country" (John F. Kennedy). Be inspired by the words of JFK and help these 2nd grade students in this Title 1 school learn about the history and Presidents of the United States of America.

In this second grade class we are embarking on a study of the Presidents of the United States of America. However, we don't have enough books on their reading level for these students to learn about our founding fathers. The students have showed a great interest in this topic.

The books in this project will help the students in this second grade class learn about Presidents of the United States. They will embark on a study of many great men who have led our country. Your help will ensure that my students get a solid education in the history of the United Stated government. You will make it possible for my students to learn why the government is important; moreover, how and why Presidents are elected. Your support will encourage these students to become leaders.
