Mrs. Teruel from Miami FL is requesting computers & tablets through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need laptops for small groups activities to do their district mandatory programs such as i-ready and Imagine Learning.

I have a classroom of 21 third graders ESOL(English as a second language) students. They are energetic and enthusiastic and I have been looking for dynamic ways to foster their love of learning in new and exciting ways.
These laptops will allow me to open up a new world of learning with educational technology that would not be possible otherwise.
My group of 8 and 9 year old students have been introduced to educational technology and district mandate program. I teach at the Title 1 school where over 90 % of students get reduced and free lunch. Also my students are come from the home where English is not their first language.
In my classroom there is a lot of time dedicated to differentiated instruction for small groups. During these times students who are not receiving direct support from the teacher will be able to use the classroom laptops for district mandatory programs such as i-Ready and Imagine Learning.
We are constantly monitored the usage minutes of the program and these laptops will help meet these goals.
The materials provided will prepare the students to be successful learners.I believe that students should have every opportunity to experience learning using a variety of tools in order to ensure differentiation. My students come from diverse backgrounds. My students deserve to have the best materials for their learning.
