Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Wonderful. Hard-working. Dedicated. These are just a few words to describe my yearbook students who work hard to create a successful and colorful yearbook for our school. These students are the ones who have helped to create and develop the yearbook while working on their editing and business skills.

Yearbook students are quite business-savvy and creative as they develop a successful and colorful yearbook for all students, faculty, and staff to enjoy for years to come.

It is these students that are the school photographers as well as the ones who help to write articles for the town's newspaper. These are the students who are at every home game, every school and community activities, and every dance. These are also the students who ask businesses to contribute to the yearbook while also preparing ads for these businesses. The yearbook students work hard to become great photographers, business leaders, and journalists.

My Project

Yearbook students must be able to successfully take photos and develop pages using those photos and information gained from speaking with other students, community members, and faculty. It is when more than one student is able to take great photos at a sporting or community event, that different angles from that event can be experienced.

It is with this camera that the yearbook students can become better photographers and develop their pages more successfully.

When the students are able to use a wireless mouse on their Chromebook to create the yearbook pages, then that student finds it easier to move images around on that page. Thus, they are able to be more successful in designing it.
