Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Yearbook is an excellent activity for students to get involved with. My students go above and beyond to ensure school events are covered and documented. Despite the pandemic challenges, we continue to capture every school moment that matters.

By donating to this project, you will not only help equip them with a high-quality camera for coverage, but you will also help foster in them their love for photography and journalism.

Yearbook has become an avenue for students whose creative passions were halted due to the pandemic. They learn how to communicate better, solve problems, and grow as leaders in the class. With yearbook, students work together as a team to put out a book that the entire school wants a part of. They also get opportunities to become more socially involved by attending events, mingling with the student body, and staying connected with the school at all levels.

This camera will help us continue igniting a spark of interest among our students. An external hard drive will also be beneficial for them. Since this camera allows us to capture high-resolution images, they also come in great file size. This data storage device will help prevent our computer's hard drive from getting bogged down with large files.
