Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a major inner city district and usually do not have many resources at hand, but are always wanting to learn more about culture. They are always thankful for those who help them and appreciative of those helping with their education. Being in an inner city has its challenges and outside help for their schooling is a great way to show my students that they are not forgotten and people want them to be successful in their lives.

My Project

A better lens and carrying case will help the yearbook take better and clearer close up pictures for the yearbook. For football games, to baseball games to even just taking random candid shots through out the school will be improved with a better lens. This lens is a higher zoom than the one that is currently being used for the yearbook. The case will be a great and safe way for students to carry our camera and the new lens to the games and through out the school without either getting damaged or scratched. Also, is a great storage case!
