Help me give my students engaging math manipulatives to support various levels of learning. These items will support my instruction by providing students with alternative avenues of observing math!
From the students I have met, they each seem insightful and curious about math! They are excited to be apart of my journey as a first-year teacher and seem to be supportive of the ideas I have run by them so far! My students are in grades 9-12 and will be so surprised by the resources I plan to bring into the classroom! Each individual student requires special attention and by including posters, manipulatives, and different learning tools, I believe they will be able to learn best!
My Project
My students have various goals, objectives, abilities, and skills. They each will require individualized resources and instruction that best support how they learn and grow in math. As there math teacher, I pondered on ways in which students can best learn and grow in this field so they feel confident in their post-secondary life. Math is all around us, and it is important my students feel confident in the skills they will learn in my classes. It is imperative I will be using life application problems during instruction, but these math manipulatives will help support them best! Thank you for your support!
