Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the use of outdated and less advanced interactive technology has created more challenges in an already complicated learning system. In order to help build a critical bridge to digital divide. My Scholars need your help.

My scholars are curious young learners.

They work hard and are excited to learn. They are aware of what is going on in their immediate surroundings and environment. Technology is a necessary tool for them to succeed.

My Project

It is vital that I meet the needs of my diverse scholars and non English speaking learners when teaching math and literacy. Counting, comparing quantity, ordering, patterning and sorting activities that my students do regularly are useful in their lives. This is the best way to build connections with what they already know no matter what language they speak.

These new materials and a comfortable circle time rug will embrace interactive learning, support small group activities, and promote a sense of belonging in an inclusive classrooms environment.
