Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

I teach Narrative Writing to a wonderful group of fourth graders, and I'd like to expand their knowledge by offering many activities in writing paragraphs, forming sentences, correcting sentences, centers, and journal writing. The addition of these materials to our classroom will help my students develop a love of writing as they write to each other, to their families, and to their Pen Pals in another state. These materials would also could my students the hands-on and manipulative type activity they need to increase their confidence level as they write. By funding this proposal, you will be giving many students in the years to come the chance to improve their writing skills. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to explore the exciting world of writing!
