This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are English language learners. Most of them are very polite and respectful. Many of my students love to come to my ESOL class because they like to get my attention and more chances to participate in activities due to small group instructions. Also, prizes and rewards such as positive feedback, snacks, and toys motivate them to learn English language. Therefore, I need snacks and toys all the time to get them motivated to learn.

This year, I am utilizing Writing Toolkit to teach my students how to write to argue, narrate, inform, and explain.

Writing process is very long and challenging for my students, so I need to teach them through various hands on activities using scissors, glues, markers, pencils, highlighters, index cards, ziplocks, etc. Therefore, we need sanitary supplies all the time such as clorox wipes, baby wipes, hand soups, paper towels, disposable gloves.

I also want to organize their writing portfolios and materials in a bookshelf nicely. Thank you for your support.
