My students need privacy folders to help them stay focused on their own work. These large, heavy duty folders will be especially beneficial during writing time.
I am lucky to have the opportunity to teach 16 amazing first graders this year. My students absolutely love to read and write stories as well as share what they're learning.
These students truly care about one another, and they love to learn new things together!
Many of my students enjoy reading nonfiction stories, especially about animals. Other students enjoy writing fiction stories - they are so creative. I am amazed at the amount they've written so far this school year! It's so exciting to see their growth already.
This class is kind, considerate, and loves to help one another. These students love to learn, and I am so lucky to be able to help them on their learning journey.
My Project
This project will give our writing lessons some much needed materials which will ensure that the students get the most out of our writing time. While students work, I go to them one-by-one and we have a conference about their writing. This process can become much more efficient with the materials listed in my project.
These students LOVE to write, and I am striving to give them every opportunity to do just that.
When I'm conferencing with a student, my goal is to be eye-level with the child. I usually bring a chair with me, but it tends to get in the way and slow me down. The rolling stool will help me easily and quickly glide from student to student. The rolling cart is something that I can take with me, so that I have a plethora of materials within reach for my students.
My classroom has tables for seating, and sometimes students lose focus or become distracted by what their neighbor is writing/saying. These privacy folders will be an absolute game changer for my students.
