Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will be used to give students one of the most basic supplies they need to be successful in classes. Notebooks are essential to all student across all classes. In Humanities, which is history and English, students often use their notebooks to reflect on what they have read.

Notebooks are gateways to help students be able to freely express themselves.

Not only can they write about what they learn but they can bridge the gap between reading and real world. It allows for students to write things that they sometimes are scared to say out loud. I want to make sure students will be able to continue to use writing as an outlet. I will use the tape to display students work in the classroom and hallways. I want to use the markers to be able to correct and give feedback on the students writing. Students will use the gluesticks for relevent handouts to be able to glue them in their notebooks or if they forget their notebooks they will be able to glue in passages that they wrote on loose leaf paper. I want the notebooks to truly reflect the student as a learner and individual.
