This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from low-income families with high expectations for their child's education. I have a diverse group of students with 11 boys and 9 girls. My students, as well as their parents, are eager for them to begin their learning experience.
The students in my class were affected by the Coronavirus pandemic in Louisiana.
Our school has been teaching in person as well as virtually since September 2020. The students are working hard to catch up on what they missed while working at home.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them practice identifying and writing letters and numbers. The learning puzzles are a great fun way for them to learn their letters and numbers.
The students will write on primary lined paper to ensure the correct formation of the letters and numbers.
They will use the pencil grips to help them hold the pencils correctly to form letters and numbers. Thus ensuring their writing will be legible and easy to read.
The use of these materials will boost their confidence in writing and learning as a whole.
