Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
It is my philosophy that every child can learn and it is up to the teacher to guide them on this journey to success!

My students are a dynamic and energetic group of middle school children that cannot get enough of reading, writing and creating projects.
My students socioeconomic status ranges from low to high socioeconomic; some of them do not have access to technology and basic school supplies at home such as pens, paper, and pencils. All of my students participate in the International Baccalaureate program at school.
The classroom supplies requested will help our students create and implement a Creative Writing Club for all to join. This club will help students excel, polish their writing and reading skills and build their confidence to help them succeed beyond the classroom.
It is my goal to guide my students and watch them grow to their full potential!
My Project
My creative writing club is a fun and safe place where students can express their ideas, thoughts and dreams all in one place! Students can then choose to either share with the club, the school or publish their piece of writing. Lastly, students will learn to take ownership of their learning while having their voice's heard.
