Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 4th grade in Pennsylvania. It is the 4th largest school district that offers free breakfast, lunch, and other amazing opportunities to all the students. It is an urban, public elementary school that touches many beautiful minds!
Because we are an urban school, many of the costs for school supplies falls on the teacher.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know many wonderful students who have touched my life in lots of ways!
My Project
I love to write! But sometimes kids don't... Adding some white boards around the room will get the students up, moving around and activating those brains!
My classroom could really benefit from whiteboards, markers, erasers, and dry erase pocket sheet protectors!
I always find that during guided reading and math stations I never have enough white board supplies. I love using whiteboards and pocket protectors as group and individual work. The students love being responsible for their markers, erasers, and anything that we can use that wipes off! Any donation towards this project will be greatly appreciated and put to good use.
