My students need exciting writing and comprehension activities to engage them while I am working with small groups to help improve writing skills.
This project expired on April 10, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Remember the subject you liked least? Writing would win the vote in my class this year for least liked subject.
My students are 6 and 7 year old first graders from and urban school district in a poor area of town.
Most of the children receive free breakfast and lunch due to their parents income. Don't let that information fool you though. Many of them are competing on a national level and don't plan on losing.
These resources will be highly effective in engaging my students in writing and comprehension activities to help them become stronger writers. The skills offered in these kits will assist students in independent learning, while providing tools to help them check their work for accuracy.
Please be the one to help make a difference in a classroom where average isn't the intention, excellence for all is!
All children should be given resources that will help them to succeed in school.
