My students need write and wipe boards to assist in their daily learning. My goal is break the cycle of poverty by instilling a love of learning and believing he/she can accomplish anything they desire!
My students want nothing more than to be successful and break the cycle of poverty. They are kind, loving, hard working children. They come to school each day brave enough to take chances in order to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Truly, they are MY inspiration!
Many students in my classroom have difficulty completing assignments at home because of lack of supplies and resources.
Our school is nestled in a very small city in Northeast Georgia.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
Individual student Write & Wipe Boards will give each child an opportunity to answer a question, practice spelling words, write and edit sentences without stress, share ideas, practice math skills, and so much more. The write and wipe boards will also allow me to maximize instructional time and do quick assessments to guide the individualized instruction.
Help me break the cycle of generational poverty!
First grade is a critical year for students to develop a love of learning as they become fluent readers, writers, and mathematicians. Mistakes are proof they are trying!
Because my students deserve so much more, I do utilize as much of my own money as possible. They are in the classroom up to nine hours a day and it is my responsibility to make every child feel loved, safe, and ready to learn.
