Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students use their imagination when they work at school, they are creative, clever and very enthusiastic about learning. They come from low income households and have not materials to work from home.
Many depends on worksheet packets and whatever books they have at home.
They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources and materials to increase their learning and success at home.
Since March 17th the schools are closed due to the COVID-19, they have been learning from home, and they do not have the necessary materials to do their work because the parents have not been able to buy materials since they have lost their job.
My Project
Please help me give my students writing materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents are not able to buy this items because they lost their job or they do not make enough money to buy extra items. My students need paper, pencils, erasers, white boards, markers, notebooks to do their writing assignments for Spanish, Science, Social Studies, and Math. They also need this materials to work during the summer to work at home for summer school, they really needs our help to be successful and be ready for next school year.
