I teach kindergarten in a school of 650 students with 69 percent free and reduced lunches. Most of my children have very limited supplies at their homes so I love for their classroom community to have many different supplies for them to experience. Writing is so important in the early development of students and I have a goal for my students to be life long writers. I would like to purchase a class supply of dry erase boards and markers for each child. The student would use these in all academic subjects. In Math they could do their math computations, literacy they could write letters and sentences, in social studies they could draw a picture of their home and their family. Art projects could even be created on these boards. I would like to purchase 25 boards and would like to buy dry erase markers and erasers for each of the students. Also I would like some baskets to put the supplies into. I would appreciate any or all the contribution for this project. Thanks so much for supporting us through DonorsChoose.
