My Students

I have incredibly curious and kind students. For most, this is their first year in school so they are excited and a little nervous. They are learning to be leaders in our classroom, school, and community. They want to do their best academically and socially. This year, I hope for them to learn how to be independent, responsible, encouraging, empathetic, and motivated. They deserve the best first school-year experience where they have the opportunity to grow emotionally, academically, and socially.

My Project

The 36 divided boxes will be used to hold and keep my students supplies organized. They will be able to have their crayons on one side and pencils on the other. The translucent box will allow a name to be taped on the inside and seen through on the outside. Each student will know which box belongs to them and will be able to keep track and manage their "tools".

My students will learn responsibility by keeping their writing supplies and taking care of them in these boxes.

The 2 boxes of 800 count 16 color crayons will allow my students to start with 16 new crayons at the beginning of the year and replace broken or lost crayons throughout the school year. There's enough crayons that will last for about two school years.

The short golf pencils with erasers will help my students with their grip and make it easier to hold the pencil as they write. My students will love having these tools and a place to store them.
