I have a classroom full of eager and energetic third graders. My students are always excited to learn something new. They love questioning and discovering facts about their environment and parts of the world they can only dream about visiting. They are curious and anxious to find answers to things they wonder about. My third graders also enjoy exploring and reading. It is my responsibility to make learning experiences meaningful.
I strive to provide as many unique learning experiences for my students as possible.
I continuously search for ways to keep them engaged.
My Project
I love to watch my students work together! Whether they are with a partner or a small group, students grow leaps and bounds when they are part of a team. The brainstorming, conversations, and creativity are amazing to witness.
The large whiteboards I am requesting will enable my students to place them on a table or on the floor and collaborate on a variety of projects.
In math, they can tackle ways to solve word problems, create graphs and prove their reasoning. In reading and writing they can create graphic organizers, jot down ideas, and answer questions simultaneously. The possibilities are endless!
I look forward to watching my students share a large workspace that gives each of them plenty of room to share their thinking!
