My students need Page Up paper holders to help keep themselves organized while typing. This tool will help them be able to work with a chrome book on their small desks while transferring their writing.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The Third Grade Thinkers constantly crave new information about the world around them. I try to provide experiences that are relatable through visuals, audio, and hands-on activities. I feel that the best way to provoke the love to learn is to make lessons meaningful through connections.
Technology has been a game changer for learning.
The use of 1:1 chrome books in the classroom has offered various ways for my students to not only retrieve information, but to practice and show what they have learned, .
My Project
Students will use the Page Up document holders to help them manage their desk space. In third grade students are expected to create products using digital tools. We are lucky to have 1:1 chrome books in our classroom, however, student desk space is limited. It is difficult for students to copy their writing from a piece of paper to a Google Doc. They lose their place, make typing errors, and lose motivation.
Supporting this project will help enable my third graders to successfully produce digital products that connect to their reading and writing learning across subject areas.
The use of this little tool will not only keep my students organized in class, but in it's small way it will promote college/career readiness. Showing students how to problem solve such issues as limited space increases awareness that will hopefully follow them to their adult life.
