My Students

Despite the many setbacks my students have endured this year due to Hurricane Harvey, my students still walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited about what each day may bring. As a campus, we have faced several challenges in and out of school, but my students remain resilient and eager to make the best out of any situation that comes their way.

My students inspire me to be my best, so I want to inspire them to be their best as well.

These students are our future, so I want to give them the best learning environment in order to help them succeed.

My Project

Due to Hurricane Harvey most of my students have had to face a lot of trials and tribulations this past year. While not all of them lost their house, all lost their school. The materials that I am requesting for my students will aid in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that they so truly need after this devastation.

Many students are still not in their homes, so creating a cozy learning environment is more important than ever.

The horseshoe shaped activity table with chairs will give my students easy access to group instruction throughout the school year. Being in the center of the group, would allow me to answer any questions with ease and convenience. The storage cube closet organizer and multipurpose standing desk will organize all class work and materials so that they can have easy access to them as needed. The bookcase will also serve as an organizational tool to store classroom books, composition books, and folders. Organization is extremely important in order to have a high-functioning classroom. The printer will allow me to print and retrieve classroom materials and work needed without interrupting the flow of instruction. The l-shaped computer desk will allow me to individually assist students and supply them with one-on-one instruction.

All of these items will contribute to the functionality of my classroom. We would be forever grateful if you would consider supporting our classroom in achieving a little "normalcy"! Being able to receive these materials will be a dream come true in helping me provide that warm, inviting atmosphere that my students want to learn and be successful in!

Thank you so much!
