Help me give my students a meaningful and kinesthetic learning experience in ELA.

My students are inner city students from the Bronx who are charismatic, enigmatic and bring diverse opinions into the classroom daily. Furthermore, I work in a single gender school (all-girls). So, sisterhood is a core value we instill in our girls. They are also creative, artistic and extremely inquisitive. Their passions for education and social justice warms my heart and is the fuel that drives me to work everyday. I wish to teach my girls the skills needed for success.
These materials will make a difference in my students lives because they can use the whiteboards for a myriads of uses. Writing on paper can be so trite and annoying to students. As an educator, it is extremely salient to vary my pedagogy and teaching practices to ensure every student has an opportunity to learn and explore learning in new and innovative ways that is engaging. Furthermore, students can use the white board as a graphic organizer to organizer their thoughts, a way to respond to questions and a means of studying for an a quiz or examination.
I want my students to be the best they can be and begin to practice independence and build confidence within themselves and their work.
Speaking of quizzes and examinations, the partitions enclosed will serve as a barrier to track and stop cheating on exams. Also, students can use the partition as a means of isolation to block out distractions and to refocus.
Lastly, the Parts of Speech Poster Pack will be a great resource for students to refer to when they learning about the parts of speech. I teach High School and I was extremely astonished at the small number of students in the 9th grade student body who knew what an noun and adjective was. In continuation, it will assist students when they begin to edit in the writing process. Moreover, when I give students feedback and I say, "Don't end your sentence with a preposition." Students will be able to know what I'm referring to and make the correction using the chart as a reference.
By and large, my students and I would greatly appreciate if we received funding for this project as it will only be beneficial in impacting students growth and learning.
