You hold the cure for writer's block! I teach English to high school students in a high need community.
My students come to school ill-equipped to complete the everyday tasks presented to them. This causes them frustration, and often distracts them from their learning. Without the proper supplies, such as binders and notebooks, many students cannot actively learn the organizational skills necessary for college and the workplace.
With binders, dividers, and a stapler students can practice their organizational skills, and keep up with their notes. Having pens, pencils, and paper readily available for all students eliminates the embarrassment of having to borrow. Personal notebooks allow students to hone their writing skills in journals. Tissue is a necessity during the coming allergy season. When students are given these tools they can focus on learning and activities. Having their own supplies also motivates students to work and study. Writing and organizational skills are necessary to prepare students for college.
