This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My ESL students are starting to become filled with creativity and excitement, but we need your help to make our writing practice even more special. I am seeking your support to provide my students with writing journals and portfolios that will become an essential part of their weekly writing exercises.

These journals are more than just notebooks—they are tools for young minds to explore their thoughts and express their ideas.

The covers of these journals and portfolios will captivate my English Language Learners because each student will be able to decorate theirs in a way that reflects their personality, their enthusiasm for writing, and will give them ownership of it all. This will make the process of writing more engaging and enjoyable, hopefully motivating them to love writing even more! By using these journals every week, my students will have the opportunity to develop their writing skills in a structured yet creative environment. With your help, I can turn each writing session into a fun and productive experience that inspires young writers to reach new heights.
