My students need these colorful dry erase markers because we use them every other day in our math class. Students even practice math at indoor recess time!

My Students

My students absolutely love math! We use dry erase boards and markers to work out different math problems during our guided practice, informal quick assessments, and working in small groups. Even when we have indoor recess, kids are breaking them out and working on their math!

My students have a strong desire to learn and teach others!

When the light bulb goes on and they understand it, they love and take that opportunity to teach another student so that student will get it and teach another... It is an endless cycle! My students are incredibly driven and motivated by if they "get it," they can teach another! They will ask me, "Can I be the teacher leader in my group? I get it!"

My Project

So, my students love using the wipe off boards we have and picking different colors to show the different steps in solving the math problems we are working on in class. They love being the "teacher" and the way they connect being a teacher is with our wipe off boards and markers. These markers will be used almost daily!!

Like I have said before, these materials truly motivate my students to learn, grow, and teach each other the math concept or skill we are on or to even review the previous lessons.

We practice math every chance we get! My students strive to be the "teacher!"
