Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a great teacher who love teaching, teach children who love learning.
My school is in the Pleasant Grove area, where our families do not have the necessary funds to provide for their child's needs at school.
We have about 500 students who attend our campus. We are a campus where learning is always happening. The students are very anxious and excited about learning!
I have 15 students who want to know what is going on in the world!
My Project
The use of journals is a daily activity in my classroom for reading. My students are beginning to enjoy writing and I want to continue their enjoyment and excitement. The use of the headphones are for our Reading and Math program, I-Station. The students also will use them with the kindles we have in our room. The use of the cushions will allow them to sit around the room during Daily 5 for reading or work on work around the room.
Some of my students have stated they work better in a comfortable position other than sitting at their desk.
I love teaching my students and love that they love learning. I am trying to do everything in power to make sure they do not lose that feeling.
